Position Summary: We are looking for a passionate and flexible person to lead the Grocery Team at Littleton’s Market. The Grocery Manager oversees all daily operations of the store, including staff supervision, ordering and inventory control, and profit-and-loss accountability. They ensure the store runs profitably while maintaining food safety compliance, executing merchandising strategies, and delivering an exceptional customer shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Foster and maintain a respectful, professional and team-orientated work environment while being fair and consistent with employees
• Ensure all guests receive exceptional service. Respond promptly and effectively to guest feedback and ensure the resolution of any issues to maintain high customer satisfaction
• Monitor and order stock to maintain appropriate levels, manage vendor relationships, and track shipments to minimize out-of-stocks and shrinkage
• Regularly monitor department sales and develop and implement strategies to grow overall sales through all relevant avenues
• Set up samples and interact with customers during sampling events
• Help vendors with demos

• Experience in the grocery field
• Detail oriented
• On the job learning/ training
• Attain and nurture good product knowledge
• Communicate clearly with vendors, receiving and grocery team members
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Collaborate with other team members
• Good communication skills, both oral written
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
