We’re looking for an energetic, outgoing, and customer‑service‑driven Veterinary Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our Spay & Neuter clinic. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, so a bubbly personality, strong communication skills, and a natural ability to make people feel comfortable are essential. While veterinary knowledge is helpful, your ability to connect with clients and manage a busy reception area is what truly matters.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet clients and their pets, creating a friendly and positive first impression
- Answer phones with confidence, clarity, and a professional yet upbeat tone
- Schedule appointments, manage client records, and handle inquiries efficiently
- Take initiative in fast‑moving situations and keep the front desk organized
- Collect payments and process medical collections accurately
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and well‑organized reception area
- Support veterinary staff with light animal‑care tasks when needed
- Communicate clearly with clients about procedures, follow‑up care, and clinic policies
Skills
- A naturally outgoing, bubbly, and personable demeanor
- Confident, assertive communication — comfortable taking charge when needed
