Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including preschool, toddler care, and infant care routines
- Foster a nurturing environment that supports social-emotional growth, behavior management, and positive interactions among children
- Maintain safety standards by applying first aid when necessary and adhering to health and safety protocols at all times
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care in collaboration with specialists when needed
- Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management techniques, ensuring a respectful and inclusive atmosphere
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and transitions to ensure comfort and consistency for all children
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Must pass background check
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain
- Strong classroom experience with toddlers, infants, or preschoolers demonstrating excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to engage children through creative activities while maintaining safety standards
- Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills who thrives in team environments

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
