Job Overview
Little Warriors Day Care is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Teacher Assistant to join our team! Pay: $15–$16 per hour (based on experience)
Duties
- Assist in planning and leading age-appropriate activities for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth through positive interactions
- Help maintain a safe and clean classroom environment at all times
- Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, potty training, nap time, and transitions
- Reinforce classroom rules and support positive behavior management
- Work collaboratively with lead teachers and staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Communicate with parents in a friendly and professional manner as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Must pass a background check
- Experience with children (daycare, babysitting, nannying, etc.) preferred but not required
- CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain
- Patient, reliable, and compassionate
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stay organized, flexible, and engaged throughout the day
