Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented CPG Product Manager to lead the development, optimization, and lifecycle management of specific product lines within our fragranced consumer goods portfolio. This role requires a deep understanding of industry trends, consumer preferences, and the competitive landscape to drive innovation and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Be the Product Expert: Serve as the go-to authority on assigned products, understanding every aspect from formulation to consumer experience.
- Market & Consumer Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, consumer behavior, and fragrance trends to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
- Packaging & Product Innovation: Identify, research, and recommend updates to packaging and product features to enhance sensory appeal, shelf impact, and operational efficiency.
- Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams through the product development process, ensuring alignment across departments and timely execution from concept to launch.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute long-term product strategies that align with brand goals and market dynamics.
- Brief Development: Draft clear and compelling product briefs for fragrance houses, design teams, and R&D and manufacturing partners.
- Cost Management & Pricing: Monitor product costs, optimize margins, and set pricing strategies that balance profitability with market competitiveness.
- Launch Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive launch plans, including timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination.
- Sales Enablement: Create persuasive selling stories, launch materials, and training tools to support sales teams and retail partners.
Requirements:
- 2 years in product management of consumer-packaged goods or a related field
Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 DOE
