Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Floater Teacher to join our team. The Floater Teacher will assist in various classrooms, providing support to lead teachers and helping ensure smooth daily operations. This full-time position offers consistent hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:30-6:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead and assistant teachers in infant, toddler, preschool, and school-age classrooms as needed.
- Supervise and engage with children during classroom activities, outdoor play, and meal times.
- Follow classroom schedules and assist with transitions between activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
- Build positive relationships with children, staff, and families.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment in classrooms and common areas.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and support multiple classrooms.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude and genuine love for working with children.
