What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Worker position at Little Treasures Childcare and Learning Center?
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Child Care Workers to join our team at our Neshannock Township/New Castle location. As a Child Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to Kindergarten.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care and supervision of children.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including playtime, arts and crafts, and educational games.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and toileting as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
- Follow all safety and health guidelines.
- Create a fun and engaging learning environment
Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience working with children in some capacity.
- Education degree is preferred, but not required.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
Requirements:
- Physical (within the last year)
- TB Test (within the last year)
- Four Clearances obtained and free of record (Criminal, Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprinting and NSOR)
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Part-time and full-time positions available
- Closed on weekends and all major holidays
