Child Care Center Director

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Childcare Director to assist with overseeing daily operations, ensure compliance with Pennsylvania state regulations, and lead our team of educators. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate and has strong leadership skills with a deep understanding of early childhood education.

Duties

• Assist with management of day to day operations of the childcare facility
• Ensure compliance with all Pennsylvania licensing and safety regulations
• Supervise, hire and train staff
• Maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment
• Communicate effectively with staff & families
• Manage enrollment, scheduling and budgeting
• Conduct staff observations and support staff development
• Help maintain accurate and organized files

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in childcare or early childhood education
• Previous leadership or management experience preferred
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Knowledge of Pennsylvania childcare regulations
• Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills
• Pediatric First Aid/CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Background check and clearances required

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
