Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily activities that promote infant development, including sensory play, language acquisition, and motor skills.
- Provide attentive, responsive care to infants, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment that adheres to health and safety standards.
- Observe and document individual infant progress, sharing insights with team members to tailor care plans accordingly.
- Engage with children through age-appropriate activities that stimulate curiosity, socialization, and early learning concepts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent caregiving practices and positive behavior management strategies.
- Participate in ongoing training on topics such as first aid, special education needs, working with children with disabilities, and childhood development best practices.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with infants or in a daycare setting is preferred; preschool or toddler care experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
- Strong classroom management skills combined with compassionate caregiving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
