Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development and learning through play, exploration, and structured activities
- Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional security at all times
- Manage classroom activities effectively, maintaining positive behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and communicate with parents or guardians about their child's progress or concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan educational activities and share best practices in early childhood education and caregiving
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or classroom settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education methods
- Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to foster positive behavior and social skills among children
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children demonstrating patience and nurturing qualities
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
