Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development, classroom management, and curriculum development, with a genuine love for working with young children. This role offers an opportunity to foster a nurturing learning environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and social-emotional development for preschool-aged students. Experience with special education, early intervention, and Montessori methods is a plus. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, implementing age-appropriate activities, and supporting children's individual learning needs in a safe and stimulating classroom setting.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to preschool children, incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori techniques.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction.
- Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom organization to ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
- Assess children's developmental progress through observation and standardized testing when appropriate; adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Foster effective communication with children to promote language development and early literacy skills.
- Support children’s emotional well-being by applying child welfare principles and behavior management techniques.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to discuss progress, address concerns, and provide guidance on early childhood development.
- Experience
- Prior experience working with preschool children in daycare, private school, or early childhood education settings is not required But a plus
- Demonstrate ability to create lesson planns,classroom management, and behavior management strategies.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
- Previous classroom experience involving toddler care or preschool teaching enhances candidacy; certification in early childhood education or related fields is desirable but not mandatory.
