About Us
Little Saint Farm is a regenerative vegetable and cut flower farm in Healdsburg, California. Since 2020, we have transformed three acres of former vineyard into a diverse and vibrant farm ecosystem. Our farm supplies produce and flowers to the local plant-based restaurant, Little Saint, as well as other restaurants, CSA members, and farmer’s markets in Healdsburg. We prioritize ecological practices to enhance soil health and promote regional biodiversity.
Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable Floral Production Lead to join our Farm Crew for the 2026 season. The Field Production Lead role will be responsible for monitoring floral crops and efficiently leading fellow crew members in crop and field maintenance tasks while remaining involved in all aspects of the flower farming process. Depending on experience level, this position may take on additional responsibilities such as floral crop planning, preparation of task lists, dahlia tuber processing, perennial floral crop management. The Floral Production Lead will collaborate closely with the farm management to set weekly field goals as well as coordinate with the Floral Design Lead on harvesting and retail flora. This position will oversee the completion of daily tasks, ensure fields and farm equipment are well-maintained, remain aware of and report on irrigation issues, pest damage, and crop needs. Additionally, this role will be involved in weekly floral harvest, have opportunities to design hand-tied bouquets, and contribute to nursery work.
This is a full-time, year-around position. It is a hands-on job and requires the ability to execute physically demanding tasks that include but are not limited to:
- Field preparation and bed management
- Transplanting, weeding, and crop maintenance
- Harvesting and post-harvest processing
- Operation of farm machinery including tractor and BCS
- Light construction and irrigation projects
- Sowing and nursery work
- Support at our farmer’s market stalls and farm stand as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is:
- Knowledgeable about floral farming, floral design, and no-till farming
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with an enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Reliable, self-motivated, and a strong communicator
- Organized and detail oriented
- A quick learner who adapts easily to different tasks
- A proactive team player who enjoys collaboration and working towards shared goals
Requirements:
- 2 years of flower farming or farm related experience
- 1 years of leadership experience
- Floral design experience
- Ability to report to work on time on a daily basis and reliable transportation
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying climates and conditions
- Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks
- Manual dexterity for tasks such as reaching, grasping, holding and handling items
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with fingers, wrists, elbows, and shoulders
- Ability to stand, sit, climb, bend and squat for extended periods of time
- Comfortably use ladders, power tools, and heavy equipment
- Eligibility to work in the U.S
- Must have full time availability Monday-Friday with flexibility for occasional weekends
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay range is $22-$26 per hour, DOE
