Bartender

• Bartenders should be naturally outgoing, engaging, and fun. They create a welcoming, approachable environment that brings a sense of coziness. 
• Bartenders must deliver their knowledge with all aspects of service.
• Bartenders must participate all preparation process and learn/understand our menu completely.
• A deep understanding of our cocktail menu, wine-by-the-glass offerings, spirits, beer, coffee, and tea programs is essential. Bartenders must also be fluent in spirit knowledge, cocktail history, classic cocktails, and the New York cocktail scene. 
• Bartenders must be capable of wine service besides the cocktail! 
• Bartenders are natural leaders in the restaurant, often being the last point of interaction with guests, and ensuring a positive final impression.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, highly motivated and passionate about hospitality, food and beverage program is a Plus 

  
  Physical Demands

  Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, using fingers and hands, kneeling, or crouching. 

  
  

  Position Requirements 

  • 3 years previous experience at a restaurant/bar with similar service, guest relations and operational standards. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively 
  • Knowledgeable on spirits/cocktails /wine, all aspects of dining room service. 
  • General knowledge of food preparation methods and culinary terminology.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends, and shifts from morning through late night.
