- Step in when employees are on vacation or sick. Must be able to pass FBI background check and have experience in a childcare setting.
- Create a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and positive interactions among children.
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child’s progress, achievements, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure consistency and high-quality care across all programs.
- Work patiently with children who may display challenging behaviors, using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to help them adapt to the classroom setting and develop social-emotional skills.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards.
