Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Supervise children during play, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and engagement.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration.
- Monitor and document children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address any concerns.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures when necessary.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care plans.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering positive behavior management strategies.
- Assist in the preparation of educational materials and classroom setup for daily activities.
Skills
- Proven experience with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create an organized learning environment.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification promptly.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism.
- Compassionate caregiving attitude combined with enthusiasm for teaching young children.
