Childcare Educator

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Educator to join our team. For our Pre-k classroom and infant room This role involves creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children of various age groups, supporting their developmental needs, and fostering a positive learning experience. The ideal candidate will have classroom management, and experience working with children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities. Duties

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Supervise children during play, meals, naps, and educational activities to ensure safety and engagement.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration.
• Monitor and document children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address any concerns.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures when necessary.
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care plans.
• Manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering positive behavior management strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of educational materials and classroom setup for daily activities.

Skills

• Proven experience with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to create an organized learning environment.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
• First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification promptly.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members.
• Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism.
• Compassionate caregiving attitude combined with enthusiasm for teaching young children.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques and developmental milestones for infants through preschoolers. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education who are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for young learners.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
