What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Provider position at Little Peaches Child Development Center?
We are looking for a dedicated and nurturing individual who loves helping young children learn and grow. In this role, you will create a positive, engaging classroom environment for children ages infant through 5, encouraging curiosity, confidence, and creativity. The right candidate is dependable, energetic, and have the ability to multi-task effectively.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Support children’s social and emotional development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff
- Follow all licensing regulations and center policies
- Assist with meals, diapering, toileting, and other daily care routines
Experience of 1250 hours in the daycare field is required.
Required Clearances: PA Child Abuse, PA State Police, FBI Fingerprints, and NSOR
