BARTENDER — LITTLE MOUNTAIN | MONTECITO, CA
Little Mountain is a wood-fired kitchen rooted in Montecito's coastal culture, added to the California Michelin Guide within our first six months of opening. We proudly partner with global and local distilleries, wineries, and breweries as well as farmers, ranchers, and fishermen to source organic and biodynamic ingredients, honoring those relationships through traditional technique and genuine care. Our Spanish Colonial dining room is designed to feel like a home: warm, considered, and unhurried.
We're seeking a talented Bartender who sees the bar as an extension of our hospitality—a place where craft and genuine connection happen simultaneously.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of cocktails, wine, and spirits with precision and artistry
- Build relationships with guests, enhancing their experience through genuine, personalized service
- Maintain and stock the bar with all necessary inventory, tools, and glassware
- Follow and maintain California's health and safety standards for food and beverage handling
- Collaborate with the team to evolve the bar program and ensure consistency
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and overall cleanliness of the bar area
- Uphold standards of excellence, embodying Little Mountain's vision for hospitality
- Participate in all steps and standards of service, including taking orders, running food, checking in on guests, and supporting additional dining room staff
- Support additional front-of-house needs as they arise

EXPERIENCE
- 1 years of bartending experience in an upscale or fine dining environment
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail techniques
- Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management software
- Active California RBS certification (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Advanced knowledge of spirits, wine, and beverage pairings
- WSET, SommCAD, or equivalent beverage certification preferred
- Experience in Michelin-recognized or other high-performing restaurant environments preferred
- Demonstrated ability to balance speed, quality, and hospitality during service
