Duties
- Manage the overall daily operations of the childcare center, including staff scheduling, curriculum implementation, and compliance with licensing regulations
- Lead and motivate a team of educators and support staff to deliver high-quality early childhood education
- Develop and oversee age-appropriate educational programs that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication, parent meetings, and community engagement
- Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are maintained at all times in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Conduct staff training sessions on best practices in early childhood education and child development
- Monitor enrollment processes, maintain accurate records, and support marketing efforts to attract new families
Requirements
- Higher education teaching experience in early childhood education or related fields
- Proven background in education administration with leadership responsibilities in childcare or preschool settings
- Experience working with young children across various developmental stages
- Strong understanding of licensing requirements and safety protocols for childcare facilities
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, parents, and community partners
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a positive environment
- Prior university experience or involvement in higher education settings is preferred but not mandatory
