Here at Little Learners, we are providing a true home away from home for our children and our staff. We are a family owned childcare center that provides early education for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. As we continue to expand, we are looking for energetic, passionate, and dependable individuals with a strong desire to teach our little learners and make a difference every day!
Currently, we have an immediate opening for a Lead Infant Teacher at our Lapeer childcare center where we are following a structured daily routine and a play-based curriculum. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with an excellent benefits package and plenty of room for professional growth.
Qualifications for our Teachers include:
- Prior experience as a Lead Teacher in a Childcare Center or Daycare
- Must have one of the following education requirements: 1) Associate's Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development related; or 2) Valid CDA in Preschool or Infants/Toddlers; or 3) Minimum 12 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or child related field with 960 hours of experience
- CPR and First Aid Certification, or we will recertify you
- Basic computer skills to assist with projects and daily logging of child’s information
- Ability to engage in physical activity and lift up to 30lbs. when needed
- Familiar with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Meet background check requirements with fingerprint clearance
- Strong communication and instructional skills
- Dependable and flexible with a strong work ethic
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent multi-tasking ability
Compensation:
- Rate of pay is based on level of education and experience in the field of early childhood
