Lead Teacher Qualifications-
* Must be 18 years of age
* Must have completed high school or it’s equivalent
* Have at least 320 hours of experience as an assistant child care teacher.
* Obtain one of the following- a. Two courses for credit in early childhood education or its equivalent from an institution of higher education. b. Two non credit department approved courses in early childhood education c. Associates degree in early childhood education
* Adult/Child CPR
Job Description- Plan, implement, and supervise daily activities for a group of children.
Assistant Teacher qualifications:
* Must be 18 years of age
* Complete one course for credit in early childhood education within 6 months after assuming the position
* Adult/child CPR
Job description - An assistant childcare teacher shall work under the supervision of a childcare lead teacher with a group of children.
