Bright Beginnings Preschool is seeking a caring, energetic, and dedicated 2-Year-Old Lead Teacher to join our team! We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences for young children. As our Lead Teacher, you will plan developmentally appropriate curriculum, create a safe and welcoming classroom, support each child's growth and development, maintain engaging learning centers, and build positive relationships with children, families, and staff. Duties
* Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that support the growth and learning of 2-year-olds.
* Create and maintain an inviting, safe, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and creativity.
* Stock classroom shelves with age-appropriate toys, materials, and learning experiences that meet the developmental needs of 2-year-old children.
* Regularly rotate and refresh materials in the dramatic play, science, puzzles, books, blocks, tabletop, art, and calm-down areas to keep learning experiences engaging and aligned with classroom themes.
* Observe, assess, and document each child's developmental progress and milestones.
* Establish consistent daily routines that foster independence, positive behavior, and social-emotional development.
* Build positive relationships with children and families through effective communication and collaboration.
* Supervise and mentor assistant teachers while ensuring classroom responsibilities are completed efficiently.
* Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations.
* Prepare classroom materials, manage supplies, and ensure learning centers remain well-stocked, engaging, and developmentally appropriate.
* Collaborate with administration and fellow teachers to provide a high-quality early childhood education program and a positive learning environment for every child.
Requirements:
* Two year Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or its equivalent
* Previous experience in an infant or toddler classroom is preferred.
* Strong communication and classroom leadership skills.
* A positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
* A genuine passion for helping young children learn and grow.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
