Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Create a warm and welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence among children.
- Engage children in activities that support literacy education, math skills, physical education, and creative expression.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address individual needs or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of children's development and daily activities.
- Support children with special education needs or early intervention programs to foster inclusive learning experiences.
Requirements:
- Experience & Education: 1 year in early childhood education; High school diploma required.
- Must pass background and fingerprint
- CPR and First Aid Certification preferred are willing to obtain
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar early childhood settings.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and curriculum development.
- Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and Montessori or other educational philosophies is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and social-emotional learning.
- Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations.

Pay: $31,200.00 - $36,400.00 per year
