Daycare Center Assistant Director/Teacher

Join our growing early childhood education community as a Daycare Center Teacher and Assistant Director! In this dynamic leadership role, you will work as a part-time Teacher and working with the Director as the Assistant Director. You will help oversee daily operations, including staff schedules and ensure compliance with licensing and safety standards, and foster a nurturing environment where children thrive. Your passion for childhood development, combined with strategic management skills, will help shape a positive, engaging space for both children and staff. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead with compassion in a fast-paced educational setting and work towards the Director position in the future.

Duties

• Work as a Part-time teacher in the mornings giving the children a loving and educational atmosphere.
• Work together as Assistant Director with the Director to help lead the overall management of the daycare center, including staff supervision, staff scheduling and daily program operations
• Ensure adherence to all licensing requirements, legal regulations including health and safety protocols

Skills

• Proven leadership capabilities
• Strong background in early childhood education with experience hours and college credits
• Have a deep love and compassion for children and eager to educate them
• Knowledge of educational compliance regulations including licensing standards
• Help with fundraising, and community engagement to support program growth

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
