Duties
- Provide visionary leadership to staff, ensuring high-quality educational programming and exceptional child care services
- Oversee daily center operations, including enrollment, scheduling, and resource management
- Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal licensing regulations related to child care and education standards
- Develop and implement policies that promote safety, inclusion, and developmental growth for children in care
- Support staff development through ongoing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations
- Foster positive relationships with families by communicating effectively about their children’s progress and center activities
- Manage administrative tasks such as budgeting, record-keeping, and reporting to ensure smooth center functioning
- Collaborate with community partners and educational agencies to enhance program offerings and resources
Experience
- Higher education teaching experience or background in early childhood education is highly desirable
- Proven experience in education administration or managing a child care or preschool center
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively within an educational or childcare setting
- Extensive experience working directly with young children and understanding their developmental needs
- Prior university experience or involvement in higher education environments is a plus
- Strong knowledge of licensing requirements, safety protocols, and best practices in early childhood education
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both staff and families confidently

Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
