Little Fish Speech Therapy is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as an independent contractor (1099) for a part-time hybrid position. Position Overview:
- Provide individualized therapy services to children with diverse communication needs, with a focus on supporting neurodivergent children ages 5-12 through developmentally appropriate, relationship-based interventions.
- Current caseload includes 2-4 in-home sessions and 1 telehealth session per week, with each treatment session lasting 35 minutes.
- Implement individualized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques.
- Complete daily SOAP notes; maintain accurate case records. Document progress notes and maintain accurate case records.
- Collaborate effectively with families and caregivers to ensure consistent carry-over of therapeutic strategies.
- Ensure adherence to all HIPAA regulations in the evaluation, treatment, and documentation of patients.
Qualifications:
- You hold a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university
- You have the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- You have active professional liability insurance coverage throughout the duration of their contract. Coverage must include a minimum of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 aggregate limits.
- You have a minimum of 1 year of experience working as a speech therapist working with the neurodivergent population
- You’re flexible in therapy sessions - you’re excellent at thinking on your feet and letting the child lead you during therapy
- You have a compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor
Contract Details:
- Independent contractor (1099) position
- Minimum commitment of 2–3 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow your caseload over time
- Afternoon and early evening availability preferred to meet family scheduling needs
- Compensation: $43 per 35-minute session (includes 5 minutes for documentation)
- Clinicians are responsible for transportation and travel expenses related to in-home visits.
