What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist position at AMY BLACK-RYEL SPEECH THERAPY?
Creating Communicators is a small private practice in the South Metro area of Denver. We are a collaborative creative, rewarding, fun pediatric practice with the goal to provide high quality, play-based, family-centered communication, AAC and feeding therapy and coaching services to our clients and their families.
We are looking to add a Speech Language Pathologists, to our team. Experience working with pediatrics and a clear understanding of early childhood development and pediatric Speech and Language Disorders is preferred.
Daily tasks include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing therapy sessions, and documenting patient progress. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans.
We need clinicians like you who have a soft spot in their hearts for learners with different abilities and are passionate about making a profound impact on the lives of the clients they serve. We serve a variety of client populations (anywhere from late talkers to children with complex communication needs) and thus our caseloads are diverse and dynamic. We geek out on technology and think that it can be an invaluable tool to help children reach their full communication potential. We provide 1:1 Evaluations and communication intervention services to the pediatric population including AAC and feeding.
We pride ourselves on supporting clinicians with small, private caseloads of one-on-one clients where you only pick up the clients you want. We provide mentorship in assistive technology/AAC (you don’t have to be an expert, just passionate about learning growing).
We are big believers in family time and work-life-home balance. Days and times are fairly flexible.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Masters in Speech Language Pathology/CCC's Required
Licensed with the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)
