This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment for all children, including those with disabilities.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and appropriate discipline techniques.
- Engage with children through play, educational activities, and hands-on experiences to encourage learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive learning experience for students.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that promotes exploration and creativity.
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and meetings to enhance professional development.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred.
