Childcare On-Site Supervisor
Position Summary:The On-Site Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the childcare center to ensure a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children, families, and staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff and support daily classroom operations.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
- Maintain compliance with childcare licensing regulations and center policies.
- Assist with staff scheduling, classroom coverage, and daily routines.
- Support teachers with classroom management and child development activities.
- Communicate with parents and address questions or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and required documentation.
- Assist with staff training and provide guidance when needed.
- Report concerns or incidents to the Center Director.
Qualifications:
- Experience in childcare or early childhood education preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well with children, families, and staff.
- Required childcare training and certifications as applicable.
Reports To: Center Director
Pay: From $13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
