Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Infant/Toddler/Preschool/Assistants to join our nurturing educational environment. The ideal candidates will have a passion for working with young children and a commitment to fostering their development through engaging and age-appropriate activities. This role involves supporting lead teachers in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning and growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of daily lesson plans and educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
- Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive learning environment conducive to exploration and discovery.
- Engage with children through play, storytelling, and hands-on activities that encourage cognitive and social development.
- Monitor children's behavior and implement behavior management strategies as needed to promote positive interactions.
- Collaborate with lead teachers to assess student progress and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom space, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible for children.
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain an orderly learning environment.
- Knowledge of infant care practices and child development principles.
- Ability to educate children through creative play, structured activities, and effective communication.
- A compassionate demeanor with the ability to build trusting relationships with children and families.
- CPR/First Aid, 30HRS STARS, TB, Food Handlers, Safe Sleep required prior to hire
- State Certificates desired
