What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daycare Director position at Little Dreams Learning Center?
- Responsible for assisting in day-to-day functions and overall operation of the center
- Expected to take full responsibility for management of the center
- Under the direct supervision of the Owner
Responsibilities include: Assisting in reviewing and maintaining educational environments
- Training and coaching team members
- Positive communication and exceptional customer service, while aiding in everyday duties with parents, children, and team members
- Filling in as needed and performing classroom duties when teachers are absent
Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education
- At least 2 years of experience working within a childcare center
- At least 2 years as daycare assistant director or director
- Four childcare clearances required by the PA Department of Human Services
- A health physical and TB test completed within 12 months prior to hire
- Some flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
