Job Summary

Duties
- Assist in supervising children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Support classroom routines such as snack time, playtime, nap time, and educational activities
- Engage children with age-appropriate games, arts and crafts, storytelling, and educational exercises that promote childhood development
- Help implement behavior management strategies to foster positive social interactions among children
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare environment to ensure a healthy and safe space
- Support staff with diapering, infant care routines, toddler care, and other caregiving responsibilities as needed
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to promote a collaborative atmosphere
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college program related to early childhood education, special education, or a similar field
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques
- Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and positive behavior guidance strategies
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated commitment to creating an inclusive and nurturing environment for all children
