We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children from infancy through preschool age.
Duties
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster children's learning and development.
- Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Provide individualized attention to each child, ensuring their unique needs are met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage children effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing attitude with the ability to provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
