Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in a daycare setting, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Support the implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Provide individualized attention to children, including those with special needs or disabilities, fostering an inclusive environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring that materials are safe and accessible for all children.
- Help manage behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective classroom management strategies.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with teachers to create engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and other personal care tasks as needed for children.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential.
- Familiarity with special education practices or experience working with students who have disabilities is a plus.
- First aid certification is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience in classroom management techniques to create a positive learning atmosphere.
- Background in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous.
