Job Summary:
Join our team at Sunshine Christian Daycare and Learning Center as a School Age Teacher dedicated to nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning. As a School Age Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and engaging educational environment for students, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development. This job is part time during the school year and full time over the summer.
Duties:
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
-Conduct activities and religious based lessons
-Create a safe and healthy environment for students
-Help with homework or other school work
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma/GED
-Must be able to pass background Checks
-Must be willing to take annual trainings
-Must be willing to provide a recent health assessment and TB test
-Be available on Early Dismissal days
- Proficiency in childhood development principles and educational best practices.
- Must be a team player
- Strong skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and behavior management.
- Passion for inspiring young learners and creating a supportive learning environment.
