Marketing Assistant

We’re looking for a creative, organized, and self-motivated Marketing Assistant to help bring Little Cove to life online and in the community.

This is a part-time, flexible role perfect for someone who:

• Loves social media

• Has an eye for aesthetics

• Enjoys being around kids/families

• Wants to be part of a growing local business

Details:

• Location: Lexington, SC (some in-person content days)

• Schedule: Flexible (10–20 hours/week)

• Pay: $20–$23/hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Create and schedule content for Instagram Facebook

• Post consistently (reels, stories, posts)

• Respond to comments and messages

Content Creation

• Design graphics in Canva

• Capture photo/video content in the space

• Edit short-form video (Reels/TikTok style)

Community Engagement

• Post in local Facebook groups

• Help promote events, memberships, and openings

• Engage with local moms businesses

Planning Strategy

• Help plan weekly content calendar

• Assist with promotions (launch, events, memberships)

• Bring creative ideas to the table

Ideal Candidate

• Strong understanding of Instagram Facebook

• Comfortable using Canva (or similar tools)

• Basic video editing skills (phone editing is fine!)

• Organized and reliable

• Friendly, positive, and community-oriented

Bonus (not required)

• Experience with small business marketing

• Photography skills

• Local to Lexington area

• Parent or familiar with young kids
