What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Assistant position at Chick-fil-A?
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and creative Marketing Assistant at Chick-Fil-A Killian Crossing to work closely with our Marking Director in multiple areas of the business. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, with strong communication skills and a passion for serving others and being a part of a community focused team. This would be a part time,15-20 hour a week position, with at least 5 of those hours a week in an operational role.
Responsibilities of Marketing Assistant:
Signage around Store
- Responsible for helping to up the POP the Saturday BEFORE a new national campaign. Putting flyers up two weeks before events.
Monthly Meeting
- Attend the national marketing meeting every 3rd Tuesday of the month and the planning meeting the last Tuesday of the month.
Guideline Guardian and Chick fil A Subject Matter expert
- Have a clear understanding of brand guidelines and be a Chick-fil-A subject matter expert. Knowing why things are done and when new things are happening. This could mean keeping some promotional information confidential.
Event Host
- Assistants are expected to ask to be off-position during events so that they can “float” and be available to the team and guest (whichever is needed in the moment. For busier events they may need to step in to assist operations).
Bi-monthly Event Planning & Result Collection
- Reps are expected to help plan an event every other month. This is to practice taking ownership of this area and to have experience directing. These events will be discussed during the monthly planning meeting.
Cow or Cow Handler
- Be available to be a cow mascot or cow handler for events
Sampling
- Sampling once a week of featured item that will be planned out at monthly planning meeting

Salary : $14 - $16
