Little Chats Applied Behavior Analysis
Orange County, NY | In-Home & Community-Based Services

Little Chats Applied Behavior Analysis is a small, BCBA-owned ABA practice serving young children and their families throughout Orange County. We provide individualized, play-based ABA services in the places where children naturally learn and grow—at home, in the community, and during everyday family routines.
We are looking for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team and work one-on-one with young children receiving ABA services.
This position is a great fit for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and wants to be part of a small practice where you can build meaningful relationships with the children and families you work with and have direct support from your BCBA.
What you'll do
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes and community settings
- Help children build communication, play, social, adaptive, and early learning skills
- Follow individualized treatment plans and programs developed by the supervising BCBA
- Collect data during sessions and complete session notes
- Communicate with the BCBA about client progress, challenges, and successes
- Work collaboratively with caregivers and other members of the child's team
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families
- Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and feedback
What we're looking for
- Current RBT certification preferred
- Experience working with children preferred
- Experience with autism, ABA, special education, childcare, or a related field is a plus
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to clients within Orange County
- Comfortable providing services in family homes and community settings
- Dependable, patient, playful, and open to learning
- Someone who enjoys getting down on the floor, playing, and finding creative ways to help children learn
Not yet an RBT? That's okay! We are open to candidates with experience in childcare, education, special education, psychology, human services, or related fields who are interested in pursuing their RBT certification.

We offer:
- Small caseloads
- RBT 40 Hour-Training
- Direct support and communication with your BCBA
- Play-based, individualized ABA
- Collaboration with caregivers
- Flexible scheduling
- Ongoing training and opportunities to grow
- A supportive, team-oriented environment
We primarily work with young children ages 1–6, so this position is especially well-suited for someone who enjoys early childhood and wants to help children develop skills that support communication, independence, relationships, and everyday family life.
Schedule & Pay
- $25–$30/hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Part-time, approximately 5–10 hours/week to start, with opportunities for additional hours as our caseload grows
- Primarily weekday afternoon/evening availability
- Some daytime and/or weekend availability may be available depending on client needs
