Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing support and implementing behavior plans for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and their families. We are specifically looking for candidates who can work 9-4/5 and have early childhood experience.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Collect data on individual progress and behaviors
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistency in therapy approaches
- Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and daily living skills (ADLs)
- Utilize behavioral therapy techniques based on applied behavior analysis principles
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
Requirements:
-Reliable transportation
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred; early childhood experience
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- High level of patience, empathy, and compassion
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
