Job Summary
Little Anitas is a well-established New Mexican restaurant in the Albuquerque area. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and a passion for creating delicious meals. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that all food is prepared according to our standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook or in a food service role is preferred.
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
