Little Achievers is hiring ASSISTANT TEACHERS to work with TODDLERS or PREK.
Shift: 8:30am-5:30pm
This is a year-round position.
Responsibilities:
- Be kind, loving, and gentle
- Provide competent supervise to children to ensure their safety and well-being
- Provide lots of love
- Assist with daily routines such as feedings and diapering
- Create a warm, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support social, emotional, and behavioral development through positive guidance
- Collaborate with coworkers to maintain a consistent and supportive environment
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Be without their cell phone while in the classroom as this is a NYS OCFS regulation.
Experience
- Candidates must have a minimum of one year’s experience working with INFANTS in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving role
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood
Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
