Duties
- Safely operate various trucks.
- Load and unload portable units using mechanical knowledge of truck equipment and manual handling techniques.
- Drive commercial vehicles with manual transmissions across different routes while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Service portable toilets by cleaning units thoroughly, refilling supplies such as toilet paper and hand sanitizer, and performing minor repairs as needed.
- Inspect units for damage or maintenance needs during each service visit; report issues promptly for repairs.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, service schedules, and mileage for record-keeping purposes.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate routes efficiently and ensure timely service delivery.
Experience
- Valid driver’s license.
- Hands-on mechanical knowledge related to truck operation, hydraulic systems, or sanitation equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; physical stamina required for loading/unloading portable units.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles.
- Previous delivery driver experience in a fast-paced environment will help you excel in route management and customer service.
