Duties
- Drive route-specific schedules to deliver, pick up, and service portable toilets at multiple customer locations.
- Load and unload equipment using manual or mechanical methods
- Perform routine inspections of vehicles and sanitation units to ensure proper functioning and compliance with hazardous materials regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, maintenance activities, and route documentation following safety protocol adherence.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate schedules and address service needs promptly.
- Conduct minor mechanical troubleshooting and report maintenance issues to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
Skills
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; defensive driving experience is highly valued.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
- Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance
- Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols while managing hazardous materials regulations when necessary.
- Physical stamina for lifting heavy sanitation units and performing manual load & unload tasks regularly.
