Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Boom Operator who is energetic, personable, and safe to join our team for local deliveries while operating our truck-mounted articulating Boom. Our Drivers are team members and key representatives of our company to our customers.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Operate company-owned 3-axle flatbed truck with articulating knuckle boom for delivery, pickup, and relocation of materials.
- Deliveries to job site & customer warehouses in the NYC Metro Area
- Unload incoming trailers
- Pick items & load trucks for shipment
- Pre-inspect truck, load with materials, and verify load for accuracy
- Operate Truck-mounted Forklift to load and unload at job sites.
- Perform required before-, during, and after–operation “user maintenance” and provide required reports.
- Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
Qualifications and Skills
- CDL License is 100% REQUIRED!
- NCCCO or CIC certification is required to operate in NY.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience operating articulating Knuckle Boom
- Hazmat endorsement is a plus, if not must be completed 30 days after the date of hire.
- Forklift/ Piggyback/ Moffet experience required
- Ability to work well with customers
- Forklift Certification a plus, if not training is provided on-site.

Physical Demands
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
