Manager of Business Development & Accounts
Position Summary
Business Development & Accounts Manager is responsible for driving strategic growth while overseeing and strengthening key client relationships. This role blends new business development with account leadership, ensuring revenue expansion, client retention, and long-term partnerships. The Director works closely with executive leadership, operations, and internal teams to align sales strategy with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through strategic outreach, networking, and referrals
- Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and onboarding for new accounts
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
Account Management & Client Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key and strategic accounts
- Maintain strong, long-term client relationships through proactive communication and service oversight
- Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling
- Address client concerns, resolve issues, and ensure overall client satisfaction
- Partner with internal teams to ensure deliverables meet contractual and quality expectations
Strategy & Leadership
- Collaborate with executive leadership to set revenue targets and business priorities
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and performance metrics to guide strategy Track and report on sales performance, account health, and forecasting
- Contribute to process improvements and scalable growth initiatives
- Mentor and support business development or account management team members, as applicable
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred)
- 7 years of experience in business development, sales, and/or account management
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing high-value client relationships
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
Preferred Experience
- Experience in professional services, healthcare, legal services, or consulting environments
- Familiarity with contract-based services and long sales cycles
- CRM experience and data-driven sales reporting

Pay: $60,091.30 - $72,368.02 per year
