What You'll Do
- Load ingredients into blenders and operate metering and pumping systems to produce high-value, detailed recipes
- Operate advanced batch automation computer systems (training provided)
- Changeover and wash out machinery between batches while following strict allergen protocols
- Keep your workspace and the production area clean and organized
- Use scanners and inventory software to maintain accuracy and ensure FIFO (first in, first out) practices
- Requisition ingredients and supplies; maintain accurate and timely production records
- Adhere to all food safety policies and promptly report any concerns to your supervisor
- Work flexible hours as needed, including frequent overtime and weekends
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
- 0-3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing setting
- Ability to operate or learn computer-based batch automation technology
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation
- Comfortable lifting up to 55 lbs. regularly
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to multi-task and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and team-minded attitude
