The Machine Technician I operates a minimum of one production machine in an area or department and performs basic preventative machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

What You'll Do
- Operate and lead key machinery, striving for efficient output of quality products.
- Set up, operate and adjust machinery.
- Perform changeovers and washes that meet or exceed specifications.
- May be responsible for breaking co-workers.
- Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor.
- Ensure products produced meet customer and quality requirements.
- Ensure products produced meet customer and quality requirements.
- Perform basic maintenance/controls, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Responsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor.
- Maintains clean work area and participates in housekeep throughout the facility and grounds.
What You Bring
- High School Diploma/GED Strongly Preferred.
- Mechanically inclined preferred.
- Fully trained and experienced in the operation of one production machine as defined at each plant and/or equivalent work experience.
- Must have strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to express ideas professionally, effectively and efficiently in the common language.
- Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task, focus and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to frequently work overtime and weekends as necessary.
- Must be able to work scheduled shifts and meet attendance requirements.
