Experienced Bookkeeper - QuickBooks Online

Lite Bookkeeping is growing, and we’re looking for more than just a bookkeeper. We’re looking for someone who wants to become a key part of our team and grow with us as we build Lite Bookkeeping into a full-service bookkeeping firm.

We’re a growing small-business bookkeeping company, and we’re looking for a go-getter who takes ownership, thinks ahead, and genuinely wants to see the company succeed.

This role is for someone who can jump into a client’s books with minimal training. You should already be comfortable working in QuickBooks Online, reconciling accounts, reviewing transactions, and identifying when something doesn’t look right.

You’ll initially be responsible for bookkeeping for assigned clients, but we want this position to grow beyond that.

As you become familiar with our systems and clients, you’ll have opportunities to:

• Take ownership of additional client accounts
• Help develop and improve our bookkeeping processes
• Assist our sales team with new-client onboarding when needed
• Help make sure new clients transition smoothly into our bookkeeping system
• Communicate with clients when necessary
• Take on additional responsibilities as the company grows
• Eventually take on greater leadership and responsibility within the bookkeeping side of the firm

You should be:

• Experienced and confident in QuickBooks Online
• Able to jump into existing books with minimal training
• Comfortable handling reconciliations and reviewing financial statements
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Organized and dependable
• A problem solver who doesn’t need to be told what to do every step of the way
• Comfortable working independently
• A strong communicator
• Willing to ask questions when something doesn’t look right
• Motivated to learn and take on more responsibility
• Interested in growing with a company long-term

Compensation & Growth

• Starting pay: $20/hour
• 90-day performance review
• Opportunity for a pay increase after 3 months based on performance
