Pay Range: USD $16.00 - USD $18.00 /Hr.
What will you be doing?
We are seeking a skilled Painter/Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the maintenance and visual appeal of our resort. This role involves painting interior and exterior surfaces while ensuring a high standard of workmanship and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, efficiency, and a commitment to enhancing our property for guests and owners.

Painter/Maintenance Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing work areas prior to painting projects
- Applying finishes such as primers, sealers, and topcoats to various surfaces
- Cleaning, taping, and protecting surrounding areas of job sites
- Removing existing paint or coatings as necessary
- Mixing paints or oils to achieve specified colors and consistencies
- Transporting materials and tools around job sites as assigned
- Performing cleanup duties and maintaining a tidy work area
- Repairing, sanding, and finishing drywall surfaces
- Installing, patching, and replacing drywall as needed
- Performing various maintenance tasks as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
What are we looking for?
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort, including weekends and holidays
- Prior work experience as a painter; 1 year of experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with painting tools and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
- Familiarity with safety guidelines and ability to read labels and warnings
- Passion for providing exceptional service to guests and team members
- Responsibility, reliability, and honesty
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers and supervisors
