Painter

Carroll Custom Coatings is hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Painter to join our growing team. We’re looking for someone with professional residential painting experience who takes pride in producing clean, consistent work and can stay productive without constant supervision.

This is a hands-on production position—not a crew-leader or management role. You’ll work alongside a Lead Painter and other team members to complete interior painting and cabinet-related projects safely, efficiently, and according to our quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and other surfaces for painting
• Patch holes, sand surfaces, caulk gaps, and complete minor repairs
• Protect floors, furniture, countertops, and surrounding areas
• Apply primer, paint, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
• Produce clean cut lines and smooth, even finishes
• Follow daily assignments and production goals established by the Lead Painter
• Maintain an organized and professional jobsite
• Properly clean, store, and care for tools and equipment
• Communicate material needs, jobsite concerns, or potential delays
• Follow company procedures and all jobsite safety requirements
• Provide respectful, professional service in customers’ homes
• Assist with loading, unloading, setup, and cleanup as needed

Qualifications:

• Professional residential painting experience required
• Experience with interior walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and baseboards
• Strong preparation, brushing, rolling, and cutting-in skills
• Able to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a crew
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent schedule
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Comfortable working on ladders and being physically active throughout the day
• Able to lift and carry painting equipment and materials
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude
