Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Café Manager to lead daily operations, uphold product quality, and manage a small, high-performing team. This role requires hands-on coffee expertise—not just people management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day café operations and floor leadership
- Ensure consistent drink quality and service standards
- Dial in espresso daily and manage coffee quality control
- Train, schedule, and supervise baristas
- Manage inventory, ordering, waste control, and opening/closing procedures
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and equipment care
- Handle customer issues calmly and professionally
Required Experience
- 2 years experience as a Café Manager or Lead Barista
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, grind size, extraction, and milk texture
- Hands-on experience with La Marzocco espresso machines (required)
- Ability to dial in espresso and troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Experience training baristas and setting standards
- Comfortable working mornings, weekends, and peak hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty coffee background
- Experience with POS systems and basic reporting
- Calm leadership style with high accountability

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
